Law preview gave me a great head-start for the first year of law school. It gave me a useful schedule to follow and a framework for how to attack my classes. I followed it to a "T" and got great grades to show for it. THANK YOU for all your help!!
—Anonymous, Cornell University Law School, Class of 2009

Thank god for Law Preview - I followed the schedule EXACTLY. Without it I would have been completely lost first semester. After law preview and a year of hard work at Cornell, I finished with a 3.95 cumulative GPA. My grades speak for themselves. Take Law Preview!!!

I felt far more prepared each day of class. During finals, I realised how valuable the preparation during the semester had been. I simply focused on practice exams and my outlines. Law Preview also helped me feel confident about my approach to law school because of the framework and method it provided.

The Law Preview program was invaluable. I was more prepared for the first year than most any other student and it really helped me get out to a good start last fall. I had a great first year. I have made Law Review and have a summer clerkship with a top law firm. Law Preview would benefit any future first year law student.

I took Law Preview in the summer of [2000], which by the way was a great intro into preparing for the demands law school. After my first year of law year I ranked in the top 10% and made law review. This past summer I did a federal judicial clerkship in Chicago. . . . I think one of nicest things about your company is that you and your staff are truly interested and enthusiastic about what you do and your interest and your willingness to help students remains constant. Thanks again and best regards.

I was never the best student in undergrad, but after using the techniques I learned from Law Preview I made the Dean's List after the first semester.

There is not very many sources of information regarding the law school experience, especially since there is nothing like it in undergraduate studies. Getting a glimpse of the experience through law preview eased some of the stress of the first year of law school. It was reassuring to know that despite what you may think or hear during your first year, everyone struggles and everyone goes through it. Even if you are lost for the whole semester there is still hope as many in my class did well on exams but appeared hopeless in class. There were also numerous little pointers that I found useful. They did not come up often but there where situations where I would recall something I had heard during the Law Preview Course that was able to get me through a particular case or concept.

Law preview was great - I felt so much more prepared on the first day than so many other students felt in the first month! I knew how to brief cases, (and more importantly that I SHOULD brief all my cases!), when to start outlining and how to stay organized. I recommend it to every incoming 1L. I finished in the top 3% of my class and so much of that was due to what I learned in Law Preview!

Law Preview gave me the tools and information to enter law school prepared with a plan to achieve success. Thanks to Law Preview, I was able to hit the ground running while my fellow class mates floundered and struggled to get their bearings in the first few weeks of class. I strongly believe that Law Preview's lessons gave me the edge I needed to start law school right.

I only took the research portion of the class and then read the book for the classroom portion. The research class was really great and I wish that I had taken all the classes! The research class helped tremendously with the my legal writing and research class. That is the class that requires the most out of classroom work and it really helped to be ahead of the game in how to research. The Law Preview class saved me hours of time. The book for the regular class was really helpful as well. First semester is stressful and it was really a relief when my classes covered cases that i had already read. If nothing else, Law Preview lowered my anxiety level of what law school would be like and whether I could handle it.

I really can't thank you guys enough. Coming into law school, I had no idea what to expect, but Law Preview gave me the tools I needed to get a running start and keep up the pace for the entire year. I finished up my first year in the top 5% of my class, and I know that would not have been possible without the guidance and motivation I received at Law Preview.

Law Preview helped me know early on what would be required of me all semester. It provided a familiarity of the subject matter, and gave me important tips on how to approach outlining and studying for exams. I was one of few students who began preparing early, and taking practice tests early, and taking them in to the professors for help, and it really paid off in my final grades.
—Tanvi P., DePaul University College of Law, Class of 2011

The most beneficial part of Law Preview is that it prepared me by telling me what to expect and providing a great schedule. By sticking to the schedule, I never fell behind or felt completely overwhelmed. Because I briefed every case for all my classes I was always prepared. Law Preview's advice about starting outlines early was probably the best advice because I was done with them by Thanksgiving when other students were just starting or way behind. That way, I had plenty of time to study my outlines before finals, which is probably why I did very well my first semester.

It gave me an advantage in preparing for the rigors of law school. Getting practice briefing cases and more importantly reading cases helped me pick out the pertinent rules and reasoning that we were tested on at the conclusion of our classes. . . . The school lists 5% increments for rank and I fell between the 15% and 20%, qualifying for the Dean's list with a 3.5 GPA.
—Anonymous, DePaul University College of Law, Class of 2012
|
Law Preview was very helpful. I had a 3.5/4 for the first semester and then 3.786/4 for the second semester which gave me a 3.643 for the first year. This will likely put me in the top 10% for the year and grade me on to law review!

I felt more comfortable speaking up in class, and more confident in some of the harder issues in classes. For example, the Rule Against Perpetuities in Property - since I already had been over it with Law Preview, I felt a lot more confident about answering problems in class.

I would gladly recommend this program to anyone who wants to learn the secret of success in law school. As I began to prepare myself for the first year, I began to panic. I had been out of school, in the work world for five years. I had taken the LSATs a few years ago and really felt as though I had NO idea what I was getting into. I was right. Without Law Preview I would have been lost. While many of my classmates were panicking, I arrived with the perspective and the head start I needed to survive this first year. I have used my Law Preview notes to review concepts in each of my courses and also to study for exams. I have also stayed in touch with my Law Preview professors and sought their assistance during the academic year. . . . The in-class instruction and the follow-up support cannot be beaten! Thanks again.

The Law Preview was truly an outstanding introductory course. I would strongly recommend it to my friends. It provided me with all the basic knowledge that has proven essential for me to successfully handle the first year in law school. It has really saved me a lot of time because I was able to avoid the mistakes that I would have otherwise made. I was also very impressed by the high quality of the professors and the one-day preview classes for each course. It has made me much comfortable to go into a class knowing what to expect.
—Wanli T., Duke University School of Law, Class of 2013

Law Preview was helpful in that I found out how law school worked before I got to law school, so that it wasn't all completely new. Like pretty much all law students, I was overwhelmed when classes started, but I feel like I would have been much more so without Law Preview.
—Anonymous, Duke University School of Law, Class of 2013

Law Preview gives students an early advantage. While other students try to figure out just how to manage case briefing and reading, and doing outlines, the law preview student already has the experience and the know how to handle the rigors of law school.
