Law Preview takes your privacy seriously. First, we only ask you to provide information that we need in order to deliver the information or service you have requested. Second, we don't share the information you have given us outside Law Preview, or its sister company LawBooksForLess.com, without your explicit permission to do so. Your data is completely secure within our database archives.
Some areas of our site are accessible without registration of any kind. This is true of all of the basic content areas. Other areas require registration.
As do most sites, we maintain logs of site usage in order to evaluate our visitors' interests, how many pages people look at, what web browsers are being used, etc. Our interest in this data is that in aggregate because it provides us with a measure of how well we're doing our job. We don't attempt to use it to track any individual's activities and, moreover, it is not uniquely identifying. We will, however, collect aggregated statistics about users on our site to share with other companies.
Collection of Personally Identifiable Information
Lawpreview.com offers several opportunities to receive products or information on- and off-line, either directly from us or from our partners, law schools, or financial aid providers. You indicate that you wish to receive this information by checking a box on a form; if you don't ask for it, nothing will be sent to you and nothing will be shared with unaffiliated third parties.
The information we ask for will vary depending on what it is you're requesting, but generally includes things like your name, mailing address, email address, whether you have taken the LSAT and when you expect to enter law school. This information is then used by us or, if you have consented, passed on to a third party to fulfill your request. Please note that third parties may have their own data policies that differ from ours. We do compile and share aggregated demographic information about users on our site. For example, we might collect and share information about the number of users on our site who are going to be entering law school in the fall.
Contests, Giveaways, Advice, & Free Events
Personally identifiable information which is collected in association with a contest, giveaway, or free event will be shared with (co)sponsors. Once again, third parties that (co)sponsor contests, giveaways, and free events may have their own privacy policies that differ from ours.

More than 99% of our surveyed customers have said Law Preview met or exceeded their expectations:
I am writing to thank you for the Law Prep course that I took last summer. I just got my first-year grades and I did fantastic, top 5%. At the beginning of the year I walked in with the plan and study techniques you taught me. While other students were still trying to figure out how to case brief, I was already outlining. And, by the time most other students began outlining I had already finished and begun writing practice exams . . . Thanks!
